Hello,
Will a withdrawal from an Algebra course hurt my future applications much? I’m in the second semester of a year studying in Egypt, and I’m very busy with full time language instruction, hospital volunteering and a load of courses. On top of this I chose, stupidly, to take an online course from home in College Algebra. I’m rusty in mathematics, and I wanted to catch up. The trouble is that it’s an accelerated, work intensive course, and with all my other commitments I just don’t have the time to dedicate, but I waited a week and a half to realize this, and now it will go on my record as a withdrawal. I probably could drop some other stuff and do well in the class if it was vital, but it would mean giving up on important things. I otherwise have a nearly perfect GPA, and I’m sure when I do take the course I’ll do well. Still, I don’t want to hurt my changes with good medical schools.
Thanks for the attention,

No a "W" won't hurt your application that much

I completely misread this thread title. I was going to say I'm having math withdrawals too. Me miss calculus =/
