Hey guys, happy Friday 🙂 So, I have a question that I was wondering if anyone (students, residents, PD's) has somewhat of an answer to.
My school started this weird thing for students finishing second year, next semester, due to some NSLDS (federal loan) policy. According to the policy, they are required to report us as "Temporary Withdraw" at the end of second year, if we take a dedicated period to study for step 1, for however long the period is. You are still a student and everything with the temp withdraw and the temporary withdraw status is removed once we take step 1 and start third year. They said that it will be written in the MSPE, as well. So if this is a school/NSLDS federal loan policy, is this a "gap" I have to report, if it is explained in the MSPE?
I'm really confused about how this would look, so any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!
