I was wondering what's the best way to go for each of these essays. What's essential and non-essential for each as far as structure, format, content, feel, etc?
The reason I'm asking is that I've been spending some time reading examples of other successful medical school essays to get some ideas on how I want to approach mine. Then it dawned on me that all of those essays were WAY bigger than 500 words, the allotted space on the AACOMAS personal statement section.
So my question is what's most important to focus on for the AACOMAS PS. Do I wait to bust out the "big guns" on secondaries, or go for it now? Kinda hard with only 500 words.
