If DDT accumulates in the liver, all of the following bodily functions may be significantly impaired except:

A. Absorption of fats in the small intestine
B. Production of bile
C. Detox of poisons
D. Regulation of blood pressure

The correct answer is D, and the Kaplan explanations say that regulation of blood pressure is not a function of the liver. However, the liver secretes angiotensinogen (precursor to angiotensin), so why isn't it considered to be involved in blood pressure regulation?

this is a question where you just have to think, what is the BEST answer.

blood pressure regulation is mostly a function of the kidney, the liver just has an intermediary role.

for the other answer choices, the liver is directly involved in those processes.
