AAMC Score Release Slow?

Has anyone else released their scores from AAMC's MCAT website, but not had them sent yet? I did mine on 10/13/05 but it is still pending. When I released my April scores they did it the same day. I guess they have a bunch of requests to process, but it seems like it would just be the push of a button.

Oh good I was worried it was just me! I sent my scores on 10/14 and they are also still pending! I was also worried because the April scores were sent the same day I requested them. I hope it will be soon 🙂

But it's only been 6 days...and they have to push that SEND button very carefully 😴

i may be wrong on this, but I believe AAMC transmits data once a week, on Wednesdays. I heard something about AMCAS transmitting August scores on Friday, but I'm not sure that's true. Anyhow... this may not be helpful because I'm working from memory, but since August scores were released late Thursday night, I believe they should go to AACOMAS (or any other non-AMCAS destination) tomorrow.

On THx I'm showing that sending my scores to PCOM and AACOMAS is complete as of about 1 hour ago. Yes I checked a "couple" of times today. AACOMAS does not reflect that yet.

Finally, mine is complete now as well. I just realized, however, that I had somehow added the Podiatry app service on there as well. 😱

I guess I should prepare for junk mail/email galore.

I somehow skipped out on it, only receiving one thing now and then. I remember the first one I got extolled the virtues and nobility of a profession in podiatry. I laughed at it and threw it into the trash.

This may be a silly question, but can I tell if AACOMAS has my MCATs yet if I haven't submitted AACOMAS application? I'm currently working on it. More specifically, how do you tell if AACOMAS has received your MCATS and/or transcripts? Thanks!

Once you complete and submit your application, you'll be able to check the status. I guess you could call them if you are curious.

I'm going to call the 5 schools I applied to and see if I am complete. LORs and secondaries were sent over the weekend and MCAT scores should be in. Anyone care to comment? Not sure if it takes a week or more to open the mail and get everything in my file. Thanks.
