aamc test vs mcat-prep test

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
GS. So the PS is pretty good since it is super hard, and the PS on the real deal is, the VR is nonsense and the BS is really hard and specific, so it is helpful but not if that makes any sense.

I took a number of practice tests, and all of the ones except the AAMC ones felt cheap, poorly-constructed, and off to me. The AAMC practice tests actually felt like real professional tests.

Ok then i will use aamc as # 1 resource an everything else as secondary.

Which one is better? Your opinion matters!

AAMC is the best and should be your primary source of practice tests. I took all the GS tests from this website prior to the AAMC tests and I liked them but they are no substitute for AAMC and are not very realistic. They are content heavy and tend to focus more on what you know rather than knowing how to take the test. VR was different but not terrible in my opinion. BS was just different but seemed to be roughly the same in terms of difficulty. That being said they helped me quite a bit because they hammered in some weak areas and strengthened my math skills. Also, any secondary prep course is going to be valuable for the sake of becoming familiar with taking the full length. What I mean by this is building stamina, becoming familiar with timing and layout, building technique, etc. Def worth taking but not as a substitute.
