jwk, they added a SMIDGE of clinical work. At many places, DNP used to be 1 year online except for two days a year on campus. Then the DNPs ran into hospital bylaw issues where they couldn't call themselves "doctor" because it wasn't a clinical doctorate. So they added minimal clinical fluff.

edit: this was before dnp was the required terminal degree for srna schools. now it's all rolled into 2.5 yrs.
