Thanks. That's what I thought

I applied 29 schools last month. So far, I have gotten 24 secondary applications. Does it sound good? Thoughts?

My thoughts are "Your 6 in VR will kill your application to MD schools, so I hope you are talking about 29 DO schools"

Secondaries are almost always sent out automatically to all applicants, regardless of their qualifications. So my thoughts are that it means nothing.

Come back in December and tell us how many interview invites you've received and then SDN will be happy to tell you if it's good or bad.

Do you know which schools have the most rigorous pre-secondary standards? UCSF comes to mind, also Vanderbilt, which I believe guarantees an interview if you receive a secondary.
