I interviewed in the beginning of February at DMU. I really liked the school and I thought I did well on the interview (one of the students commented I did well, although I don't know if they do that for everyone lol). How long did it take for everyone to receive their acceptance letters and was it through email or mail? It has been 3 weeks and I am starting to get worried as I really wanted to go there.

I also have interviews at Midwestern (AZPOD), CSPM, and Temple this month. I know Midwestern only has a couple seats left so I'm just trying to be realistic about that one. I also know it is late in the cycle to have interview so I am kinda of getting worried. Is there anything else I could do right now as I wait for these interviews to help my application or help them make a decision after my interview?

My stats:
Non-science GPA: 3.85
Science GPA: 3.42
Cumm GPA: 3.62
MCAT: 25

*Tons of community service hours: over 500+ hrs
*Started my own pre-med organization: Founder/President for 2 years
*Multiple leadership positions on campus
*Medical relief mission trips to Haiti
*Podiatric Shadowing hours: 242
*Phlebotomy certification, First-Aid/CPR/BLS certification

I didn't apply to DMU but I do know that most of the schools (Kent and Scholl for sure) try to get a response back to you in about a week by both email and mail. If DMU didn't give you a time frame of when they would get back to you, then I would contact them and politely ask when you might expect to get a response. There is nothing you need to do right now other than wait. The interview seems like it is the last piece of the puzzle because the rest of your application looks promising. I know it's tough but just relax.

I got my response within 7 business day. However, this was back in October. Their class probably only has a few seats left, if any, so I'm sure that's why it is taking longer. DMU does everything via email.

OP, call admissions and check on your application status. Most people usually hear back within a week or two.

Update: So I ended up receiving an email about 3 weeks later notifying me that DMU has opted to place me on the "alternative list." Seems like most schools at this point are completely full. I also received an "accepted waitlist" at AZPOD. Interviewing at CSPM and Temple next. CSPM has already informed me that it is full and I would be interviewing for the "alternative list." That's a bummer too. Hindsight bias, I should have applied earlier because I feel like my credentials are above average and I think I do fairly well in the interview. :/ ...crossing fingers that people drop acceptances.
