awesome!! congrats!! Is that your first choice? are you going there?

I'd expect that it is his first choice since schools are not allowed to notify non ED applicants before October 15th, thus he must be an ED applicant.

and... CONGRATZ!

It is my first choice and my only choice. I am ED....

Congrats! I applied there. Too bad about four years in Lexington 🙂 but the med school is great.

It is my hometown. I like it here.

awesome! I wish I liked it here. I can't wait to get out. I like the med school but I will not go here unless I have to due to the city.

seriously, congrats on getting in ED.

aparecida, why didn't you apply to some "upper level" schools? I guess when I say upper level, I mean those schools that everyone rave on everyday here on sdn. just curious. 😉

Not true...WI told me in two weeks they would let us know, and Tulane notoriously goes before the 15th

I know. But AMCAS in their "responsibilities for medical schools" stats that non-EDP acceptances cannot be given before Oct. 15. I don't know why some schools decide to go behind AMCAS's back.

because they're cool, that's why!!! the sooner the better, fo sho, man. i can't wait for the 15th, but i wish the significance of that date didn't really exist. the osteopathic schools don't do this wait-for-it thing, do they?

Oh, I did. My first choice is Pitt. I just also applied to Kentucky. All I was saying is I go to Kentucky for undergrad and I hope I don't wind up staying here for another four years of med school. Sorry, that probably looked confusing.

okay, I've derailed this thread enough. apologies.
