Congrats on all the acceptances!!!!

Just a question to those accepted out of state at NCSU. Do yall know if the called all of their OOS acceptances? Because my phone shut itself off Friday. I called the office today, and they said nothing has gone out yet about final decisions on OOS but they will be mailed to my current mailing address (she gave no timeline). So I kind of got my hopes up but it seems that I may have missed the mark (maybe i'll at least make the waitlist). Thanks, i will appreciate any info.

I have an interview in couple of days any hints to how to prepare? what kind of questions they asked you. I am quite tense about the interview any thing you suggest me doing in preparing....

all you people are amazing! i have never received such positive reinforcment from such a vast group in my life (crying again, can you tell?!) i hope i meet all of you guys one day. we vets/wannabe vets are a good group 🙂

I have no idea, but I couldn't even believe it when I got the voicemail 🙂 I finally caught up with them on 1/25, and got the letter in the mail on 1/26. Perhaps no "final decisions" have gone out because my acceptance is pending successful completion of coursework?

I'm a newbie, hope its okay to post non-AVMA schools. SMU is AVMA "listed" ie like Ross U. But my first choice is UGA! Im waiting to hear within the next month. Wish me luck. Sure wish I would have found out about this site in August! Congrats Everyone!

Gotta add my congrats to Rex too 😀 She has been a great support for me in starting out my lab monkey work-- so it is true: great things happen to great people! And WICHE to boot- even better, and not an easy thing to get!

For OSU, as they go through the interview process they keep changing the cutoff for admissions (point wise). Basically, they see where the applicants are falling and then let in those that they know will be accepted accordingly. Therefore, the later in the process you interview the lower the point cutoff and the more likely you will be to hear sooner. There's not any one thing that will get you an immediate acceptance, just a score above the current cutoff point. Good luck!
