So I just received an acceptance letter from my top choice in the mail today. YAY!!! I have an interview at CUSOM on Monday but I just canceled my flight and hotel reservations. How do I cancel my interview for them? Or should I just not show up? I feel like the latter is too unprofessional for me but when I called the school no one answered. What should I do? I have another few interviews lined up but I have plenty of time to cancel those appropriately. Thank in advance.

Not early decision. I need some advice about what to do about my interview on Monday that's all.

I believe an e-mail would be fine. If it helps you feel better, thank them for the opportunity to meet with them but you must regrettably decline the upcoming interview.
If you e-mail them now, they will see it when they arrive at work first thing on Monday. Trying to wait and call them Monday morning may be a hassle since they asked for interviewees to be there at 7:30 am.

To be honest, the quicker you let the schools know you are no longer interested, the quicker they can contact other applications who feel those schools are their top schools. Congrats on your acceptance!

Ps, if I had to guess bflatminor could have interviewed already at one of the LECOM's. A few people posted that they received the waitlist status as their post interview decision.

LECOM has started giving acceptances. Congrats on your acceptance!

Please cancel your interview. There are many other students that would love to attend CUSOM and by you not canceling, you are withholding that slot for them. It takes a few minutes to make the call. CUSOM was nice enough to call you, you can be respectful and call them. @bflatminor

Really lecom has been giving out acceptances already? I'm still not even verified (been about a month now)

I called but I was transferred to voicemail... It's Saturday after all. Instead I took trs88's advice and sent them an email. Oh and thanks a lot! I'm really excited.

Yeah, no kidding? I didn't think interviews had even started yet.. Early decision program maybe?

Some schools (like LECOM) started interviewing at the end of July. Others don't start until September. Its very school-specific.

You called them, leave a message, and be sure to email them. That's it. Definitely don't just not show up and don't wait to call them on Monday.

Yeah, like I said above they started interviewing at the end of July. You could get the post-interview decision as early as 1-2 wks after the interview. I knew someone two years ago who got in around this time, and he just withdrew from all his other DO apps.
