the other day i heard on the news that iran had the highest percentage fo drug users of any country. i thought it was was kind of an odd report to make... it felt a lot like i was hearing propaganda. it was a 1984 moment... kind of scary.

big brother, man... he's trying to brain wash us!

Sounds like Pedro got in under URM status. Can't deny that the standard's a tad bit (um, lots) lower for URM's.

The thread just will not close, I think a more radical and offensive approach will be necessary.

What else can we try? Our efforts to this point include:
-various off topic conversations (including but not limited to cars, the Academy Awards, a lengthy discussion of cakes, Aliens v. Cyborgs, Airplane references, and Australian marsupials)
-dispensing of medical advice on several occasions
-inflammatory statements concerning URMs
-the much discussed topic of DDS vs. DMD
-med vs. dent
-trollish comments concerning malfunctioning genitalia
-numerous caturday pictures
-more medical advice
-negative insinuations surrounding drug use in Iran
-racially insensitive remarks
-direct requests to have the thread closed

3,500 views and no close yet...I'm running out of ideas.

This is the Rasputin of threads. Ok lets give this a go...how about racially insensitive, sexist medical advice concerning cakes made from Australian marsupials...

If a white she devil baked me a delicious koala and ginger bundt(with raisins), but infected it with syphilis, what kind of treatment would you recommend? Would this condition hurt my chances for admission to dental school?

I would prescribe a regimen of homeopathic tinctures, and then would follow that up with a diet composed of meat pies. Followed with unhealthy amounts of vodka and absinthe. The reasoning is that the bad vodoo that brought on the case of syphalis to that poor marsupial will not tolerate the good karma of homeopathy. The meat pies serve as a andidote for the ginger bundt, and the booze is just for good measure.
