I am a D3 student at NYUCD. I am also an AP student who started last year. My roommate is graduating this year and I am looking for a female roommate.
Here are the details:

The apartment is in "Waterside Plaza", 2 bedroom (one is occupied by me, the bigger one is for rent) which is exactly 5 mins walking distance from school. It is for 1450/ month. (Cheapest deal for Manhattan rates). The rent includes all utilities - high speed Internet, A/C, heater, electricity, gas, microwave, cable TV. There is laundry room in the basement. 24 hour doorman service, access card entry - meaning great security. Move in by Jun 1, a couple of days earlier considering the fact that your school starts on Jun 2. The basic furniture (Queen size bed with mattress, floor lamps, study table, chair etc) can be bought at negotiable rate from the outgoing tenant.

Hello everyone.i got accpeted at NYU. i am punjabi indian.I am posting this thread for accomodation.Could anyone tell how can i find accomodation.Where do the students mostly live? Anyone wants to share accomodation .Pls help me.

usually if you are indian international student and want to save some money then i would advise you not to live in new york city. rather you should live offcampus in jersey/brooklyn/bronx. in jersey city there are lot of indians so you want feel home sick.
however i live in jersey city JSQ area only 10 mins walk from PATH station i have accomodation available for 1 person and will get a seperate room and privacy at optimum price. if interested email me on [email protected] we will discuss further.

hello this week will be more apt in hoboken I was there this weekend was nice but no parking few minutes to manhatan , I got a 2 br apt b/w hoboken and jercey city very difficult to tell about the place every block change for nice to unsafe jersey city has anice area and bad area hoboken is nice but prici and no PARKING that drove me carzy this weekend so as a result i got a 2 br with parking may be I rent one room who kwons................all the best in a search so by the way no get hotel on line in jersey city are very very bad that was my personal experience GPS was a very good tool to have for serching apt..........................................see you all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,soon

[I rented two brm condo my class start jun 2 if anybody of my class need place to stay until found apt I can help all the best I hope all the other post will be hear before I rented 1200 with parking 12 minutes for school but I will used the train path trafic looks bad in the morning comute

Hi ,as I said in the other thread I am declining nyu so the studio that I was about to rent is empty now ,it has a bathroom ,a kitchen,a big room and is located 1 block from grove st path train station ,downtown jersey city 15 min to manahattan ,the rent is $ 950 all utilities included except the electricity and cooking gas which is not going to be more than maybe 30 dollars a month for both.it is a very nice offer for one student or a couple that are attending nyu.your are going to save a lot ,you have privacy and the most important commuting is very good .also close to indian community.if you have any question you can send me a private message.

Hi all the new D2's. I am a D2 AP student and will be graduating to D3 on May 21 🙂.
Well, I have a room availabe for rent in a 2 bedroom place near journal square. The specifics are as follows:

- the apartment is near Journal square, jersey city and a lot of indians and NYU students live here.
- it is close to the PATH train station and Indian street.
- It is very safe and I have lived here for past one year.
- the apartment is fully furnished and so you just have to get your bags.😀
- It has hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and is absolutley beautiful and clean. It is also centrally air conditioned..(which is hard to find here) and much nicer than the apartments in manhattan where you pay more than double the price.
- Rent is $625, including all the furniture, utilities, high speed internet. Not to mention that you can gain from my experience at NYU and my friendly advice and nature from time to time😛
- About myself, I am a Punjabi girl, friendly, ready to help and very understanding.
- The commute is 30-35 minutes from NYU
- The place is available from June1st.

Hi Jugu ! I chose to live in Ridgewood (Queens ). Is not expansive, safe area for kids ,european community, about 45 min from nyu .The same is Glendale (Queens).🙂
