I know this is slightly off topic, but has anyone here taken the ACS biochemistry final? I have had a terrible teacher this semester and although standardized I don't think he prepared our class very well. Most people have less than a 65 average grade as it stands. Luckily I am sitting up top with a high B. Does anyone have helpful tips? Thanks!

Have you taken an ACS exam before? I had them for gen chem and both organics and was able to get an official guide/practice book that helped a ton. I'm not sure if something similar is available for biochem. They can be brutal exams though, do you know if he will be grading it on a curve?

i recommend chads videos for biochemistry (chemistryprep.com). these helped me so much when i took biochemistry last semester. i highly recommend these videos. i think he even added quizzes which will be a huge help

There are no study guides for the biochemistry version. I've taken them in the past and they either saved my grade or killed it

I took the ACS biochem final last semester and thought it was straightforward and below average difficulty. If Chad has biochem videos, I guarantee they'll be more than enough

Thanks! I know to get that "A" grade on the test it might be required, but is it absolutely necessary to go in depth and learn every single structure and enzyme and initial/final reactant and product? Or does it focus mainly on general knowledge of the processes? Our teacher is WAAAY behind and we are learning 4 chapters this week while our final is on tuesday, so there is a lot of selective learning going on
