Hey everyone,
I have been studying for the reading section of the ACT and time is a big issue for me. it seems like every time I take a practice test I have 5-6 problems left as time expires. Any tips/ strategies that could help me with this issue?
Thanks,

Cam

Well I got a 33 on the reading section so I'll tell you what I did. It may or may not work for you:

I would get to the passage, and immediately look to see how in-depth the answers they wanted were. For example, if the questions were going to be like "What's the characters name" or "where does the story take place" I'd skim pretty broadly through the passage and just get the main points.

If the questions were "what color shirt was the character wearing" level (which they often were), it would then just come down to reading it quickly, and answering what I knew while making educated guesses on what I didn't.

There's really no time to question yourself on the reading and science portions, you just go with the best answer and move on!
