I am noticing that this MCQs has been discussed alot on this forum. I just put key words "types of ameloblastoma" in Google and that is it.


"three clinical types of ameloblastomas are described, the solid type being the most common. This type is further subtyped histologically into follicular type (which is the most common), acanthomatous type (which is sometimes mistaken for intrabony squamous cell carcinoma), plexiform type (which favors the maxilla over the mandible and is suggested to be more aggressive in behavior), and granular cell, basal cell and desmoplastic types. The last three are the least common "

I think after, now the answer is clear to all of you. the most aggressive type of ameloblastoma is "plexiform"

I think we all should take advantage of the valuable information which is avaible on the net, if we can't read course books.

the answer to this question is definitely plexiform ameloblastoma.it is mentioned int eh shafer's book of oral pathology and has been explained extensively there..

Granular is the most aggrasive form of ameloblastoma according to nevilee.
I didn't check the shafer buteven i asked my professor and he told the Granular is the most aggrasive form! I don't know what have been written in shafer. Just check it properly.
