-MCQs in dentistry / [edited by] R.A. Cawson
-all books they prescribed written by cawson (surgery & patho, and pharma), as well as the Cariology book
-Skinner's Science of dental Matl - Philips RA or craig-wattaha book on dental materials
-Boucher reviewer (thick blue book) for the MCQ
-dental decks for the NBDE part 2
-Clinical Perio - Carranza
-cariology book by brun

Hi Every one, after everyone's experience and mine taking the prelim.exam; here are the only material you should focus on, you need to refer to text books only when you are in doubts for the answers...do not waste your time reading text books....! here are the only study materials for prelim exam:
_ 1000 Bank (previous MCQ from many years up to date)
- Boucher - Cawson
- Odell for SAQ- Hand book of clinical dentistry for SAQ

Most important one is 1000 Bank , every years's exams are 60-70% of this material. Take my advise or not...up to you all

i just got some recommended books by the adc-list from a medical library and will review the 1000 Q answers.

hi sorry have not been able to access the acc for a while been really busy at home.
but this tampering with the acc is really bad and should be stopped after all this is not a competitive exam and we all are at the same level and helping each other is the best way to get thru this exam.

That is a good idea as in matter of fact i read many in SDN forums who passed said that the great help was from dental supply but I do not think so as I had sent them an e mail asking about the materials and the cost but they didn't reply even😕

You don't need to read dental decks but you need the latest MCQ, shot ANS and other test books . I can't give you the books as I need then for the clinical. Regarding the dental supply they are a genuine company and they do supply to all most all the people I know. Dental supply gives you the materials developed by some of the lectures and examiners. i too wrote to them en quiring and an acc no in anz bank was given to me held by someone named Pillai and i was to deposit the money there after which i would be mailed the material
