My gut also says that would be 1 hour immediate use if made (made = vial is attached to add-vantage system) in a non-sterile area. But I do remember at one of my hospital internships we would leave Zosyn "kits" of a vial and mini-bag plus system, and pretty sure we labeled them use within 4 hours of reconstitution.

Did they also do the 4 hour extended infusion for Zosyn? Maybe their way of getting over complaints of "how do I infuse this over 4 hours if it expires in 1 hour"?
