I'm curious whether I should answer this secondary prompt for UAlbany: Please explain any inconsistencies in your university, graduate, or professional school academic performance and/or MCAT scores. If the question does not apply to you, please put N/A in the box provided (1000 characters).

I have a 519 (C/P: 132, CARS: 125, B/B: 132, P/S: 130), but I was considering speaking about my low CARS subsection, since it is so much lower than the others.

For CARS, I was scoring 129-130 on my FLs. But I am also a naturally slow reader, so I was finishing each section exactly as time ran out. The CARS on my actual exam felt extremely long and much more difficult than any practice I had seen (from Reddit it seems that the CARS section was very unusual). Unfortunately, I ran out of time and had to make quick guesses for the last 3 passages.

Is it worth mentioning that it was a fluke, and I should have prioritized timing in my practice? Just unsure whether to mention it or not.

You have a 519 MCAT and a median cars score and you’re worried about explaining it???

I wish I had that problem 😂

This is not an inconsistency or a failure, really.
Unless you have had a low grades semester (low = B's and C's when your norm is A's) or had to drop classes because you overloaded yourself, answer this kind of question on secondaries N/A

Thank you! My first 3 semesters of college, I had a couple B- and Bs (was constantly sick and had two operations in my first two years), but I still had around a 3.4-3.5. Those experiences reaffirmed my goal to become a physician, and I had straight As for the next 5 semesters. Would this be worth mentioning, even if my GPA was not that low in the beginning
