I just bought a Cardiology III but the headset is a bit too tight for my liking. I'm using appropriate fitting ear tips and the ear tips are pointing in the right direction. My problem seems to be with reducing spring tension. I'm following the directions on headset adjustment (pulling eartubes apart gradually) but I'm not seeing much relief. If I have the scope in for more than a minute the headset eventually has so much tension that I'm not able to hear out of one of the earpieces. Does anybody else have any experience with this?

The scope is brand new and is my first Card. III. Are they just a tighter fitting scope than others? Any help would be appreciated!

have you actually tried the larger ear tips or are you just assuming you're using the right size because they seem to fit right? i have this scope and had the same problem until i tried switching to the large tips which solved everything for me.

My scope already came with the larger tips installed. I tried the other two sets of tips that came with it as well. The larger tips fit best, as I previously stated.

i have the same problem - i just stretch it by leaving a (big) book between the tips when i'm not using it...
