Hey guys,
I've been interested in anesthesiology for a long time, but finally decided on applying! Just began to research on programs, but am really confused with which program offers advanced/categorical/or both.
I've tried looking at the program's website, the ACGME website, and FREIDA website...and there occasionally seems to be discrepancies between them. Eg. UCSD on FREIDA says 'accredited and required length 4 years', but the ucsd anesthesia website says they only have the advanced program.
So how exactly do you tell what type of program it is?
thanks for your help!
ps...does ucsf have a 3 year program?
