So I've been looking everywhere online to find ways to answer this question, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. I had an essay I've been working on for a while, where I talked about my time as a nursing assistant working with a patient who was mentally altered, would randomly start hitting everyone and yelling, and how I was originally discouraged when caring for her since I had trouble assisting her with her ADLs. In the essay, I talk about how I learned that I needed to step back and try to see things from another angle. I talk about how I realized while I couldn't solve any underlying neurological problem, I needed to individualize how I care for her and had to find ways on my own to calm her down and fulfill her needs beyond just the physical ones.

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially @Goro . Thank you so much in advance!
