Hello!
Heard that there is a new law stating that international dentists can't practice in the US after DDS. They can practice only if they have a US citizenship. Is this true??
If it is true then it is of no use spending so much time and money. I hope it is not true. Can someone please clarify this...
Thank you in advance!

Can you please cite the source where you got this piece of information from ? Please don't post random things without citing evidence. To answer your question, I highly doubt what you are saying is possible but I will leave it to the other members to chime in.

If that was true, the admission statistics would not show 80% of students to be nonresidents

Hello! Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated. Apologies, I do not have the source of this news but was informed by a friend. Apparently, my friend said this and I was worried about the same. I am sure you must be knowing that it was not to mislead anyone but a genuine doubt, which other members in this forum might be aware of. Anyways, thanks for your inputs. Best of luck!

It is okay 🙂 All of us are striving towards the same goal. It might be state specific for licensing requirements.
