Hi everyone,

This just crossed my mind and was wondering if anyone happened to know -

If one has an MCAT score that will be 3 years old by the time of matriculation (and that MCAT score is above a 30), or otherwise not expired by the school's standard, does/will the adcoms view it poorly since it is more aged than, say, a similar score from 1 or 2 years prior to matriculation?

This is assuming cGPA and sGPA are both ok (3.6 or above for both).

Feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

A valid score's a valid score. Unless you're really truly certain you can improve it, there's no need to retake yet.

You should check with the school where you are applying. I have seen where some schools go back three years from the first day of class. So if you took it August 2010 it would be valid for September 2013 school start.

Good Luck.
