Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if any of you are pursuing the air force scholarship. I meet with the recruiter yesterday and am trying to figure out if that is the road that I want to walk down. It would be great to hear from any of you who might be considering it as well. Thanks for any input.

where do you plan to go to school?

i'm shooting for UPenn, UoP, and Michigan.

I was thinking about it too but decided against it. I am going to Upenn, and want to specialize. So i decided it wasnt worth it.Another reason is that Ithe average inncome that the starting dentist I know from my city makes aorund $150,000. IF you are going to a private school where tution is a lot the n i thin it is worth it, or if you dont plan to specialize I thikn it is worth it, otherwise its not.

what are the terms of the deal if you choose to specialize?
if you get into a civilian specialty residency, are you
guaranteed a deferrment while you complete the residency,
after which you will serve your military obligation?
