Hi,
Alot of people are waiting to hear back and some have been put on waitlist. It also seems as if Colorado and BU have gone on an acceptance blitz in the past few days.
Those that have been accepted at NYU and have declined their seat for whatever reason, could you please post here.
Thanks

I have a question, just curious to know about !!!🙄

If people refuse NYU at this stage for Bu or Colorado, would they get their deposited first semester fees, back.

No, the deposit is non-refundable. Those opting out of NYU to attend BU or Colorado, would be saving over 100k and a year, so I dont think they are too worried about the 5K.

disregarding housing, i thought BU and NYU have the same tuition rates? or very similar, like a 5k difference?

Thanks for your reply, actually i was asking about the first sememster's tution fee.

Yeah once you've paid tuition its pretty much gone.
As for the earlier comparison of tuition to BU, even if you dont factor in the high living expense in NY, you have to factor in that it is a 3 year program, so you are paying tuition and living expenses for an entire extra year

Ohh, its 3 years, i see. I just said that because i figured, there are probably students that live in the nyc metro area and it would be cheaper if they commuted from home. So i figured that in the long run, it would add up with BU's tuition + living.
