Am I at a big disadvantage for the pcat?

I just changed majors from chem. engineering, so i have a bunch of prereqs to take so i can apply for 09 admission. i will take the pcat in october, so i was just wondering if i will be S.O.L. with my situation.

Classes I need: Biol. I and II, Anatomy and Physiology, econ, stat, and maybe another one or two. The situation is that I cant take biol II b/c its only offered in the spring and Human anatomy phys II (i assume that is just physiology) b/c it is offered in the spring.

i have taken a biochemistry class last semester, so that could help me out, but im wondering w/out biol II and physiology, will i be at a huge disadvantage on the pcat?

You're not at a disadvantage. I haven't taken Organic I or II, and Biology II isn't required for entrace to KU School of Pharmacy and I still have to take the PCAT. You might want to brush up on physiology a lot on your own because a LOT of physiology is on the PCAT. But most students who take the PCAT are at some kind of disadvantage since the timing of the PCAT doesn't come in well with the order the prerequisites are taken.

What made you switch over from Chem. Engr? Jw because I had started as Bioengr. and then switched too.

just the ridiculousness of the program at clemson univ. I will go out on a limb and say that it is 2 fold more challenging than any other major. the question is not can I do it, but do I want to go through all of that b.s. i'd love to do it, but they ask so much of you more than any other major, and if i can be just as happy doing pharmacy while making a little more money, then i will go for it.
