Okay, toss that question...I know for sure that I'm weird. 😱

Specifically....

Is it weird that while everyone seems to be super super nervous to start pharmacy school, I am like so ecstatic I can barely contain myself?!?!?!?

Anyone else in this category??

I think I was like that when I walked into Best Buy and checked out the $8000 Plasma TVs and realized one would be mine in 4 years. Now two years later they only cost $2000, too. Rock!

But I'm sure it's normal for different people to experience the whole array of human emotion when faced with the stress of adjusting to a completely different lifestyle.

Yes that's true. I do go back and forth between scared, nervous, excited and every other extreme.

I think I am just super happy today because it's starting to become real in my mind now that I am getting all the orientation emails and stuff in the mail about what first years have to do in the first week...etc...

I know it's going to be tons of work, but it's going to be SO MUCH FUN too!!!

So your first present to yourself will be that plasma TV?? Awesome!

Mine is gonna be the bubble beamer I've been wanting forEVER!!! Oooh, I can't wait!

Don't be nervous! If you got in, that means that the adcom had confidence that you will be just fine, so you should have that confidence too! I know it's gonna be really hard but it's only a few years and then we'll actually be pharmacists!!! How cool is that?!?!?!

I am way excited for pharm school to start also. 17 more days!!!! I got my biochem book yesterday in the mail (thank you ebay) and was literally dancing around the kitchen with it after it came out of the box.
YEAh School!! 🙂

yeah when i started pharmacy school last year, I experienced the same, too. I keep wondering how people in my class would look like, if they are nice, friendly, how the professors would teach us...ehehehe...🙂 it's excited to look forward for something new...everyday.

Exactly! I know once I get in I'm going to be overwhelmed by the huge workload, so I might as well be excited about it now....cuz I'm sure once I get going, the excitement's going to fizzle and the only thing I will be able to think about is "how much longer til it ends?????"...
