No offense, but you're a pre-med, so you have no idea what your life will be like in medical school. It's not true that you have no time to volunteer or work with underprivileged people, if you choose to do that. A lot of medical students spend time working in the community, and so do many attendings. For example, the first and second year students at my school are starting our own free clinic. If anyone wants to read about it, I posted about it in my blog.ChymeChancellor said:It's funny how all this idealism ends once in medical school and beyond.
