Hi all,

I'm still working on the AMCAS =/ and I have some questions regarding how to categorize activities. Here are the descriptions:

Co-President, Organ Donor Education
  • Goal: educate the community about organ donation
  • Visit classrooms to teach kids about organ donation and basic anatomy
  • Organize screenings of movies that deal with organ donation
  • Develop essay contests that relate to organ donation
  • Set up a booth at a community health fair that includes games and information about organ donation
Question: Should this be Community Service/Volunteer - Medical/Clinical, Community Service/Volunteer - not Medical/Clinical, Leadership, or something else?

Events Chair, Premedical Association
  • Goal: give students information about being premed, finding research/volunteer opportunities, and applying to medical school
  • Maintain informational website and send out newsletter
  • Organize events such as panels with doctors and mock interviews
Question: Should this be Community Service/Volunteer - Medical/Clinical, Community Service/Volunteer - not Medical/Clinical, Leadership, or something else?

Thank you for your help!

For the first one, either Community Service/Volunteer - not Medical/Clinical or Leadership. The second one sounds like Leadership to me.

Thank you! I listed them both as Leadership.
