Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all doing well with finals and all the pre-summer stuff.

I had a quick question. I just completed my Spring (and final) quarter of college. I plan on applying this year (hopefully in a week or two), and was wondering what should I do regarding transcripts. I performed very poorly in my classes this quarter which will significantly bring down my GPA. Thankfully, the scores have not been recorded onto my transcript just yet. Should I go ahead and send my transcripts now, without my grades for this previous quarter? or should I wait for all my grades before submitting my transcript?

Now, should I submit my transcript before Spring grades are out, will I have to send an updated transcript during the AMCAS application process? And how far into the process will this take place?

Go ahead and complete AMCAS and send transcripts without spring grades. AMCAS won't ask them for later, the individual med schools might. How poor are we talking? Anything below a C might be shady

Any med school you get into will demand a final transcript, and at that point whatever poor marks your received will be known. You can lose a seat in a med school class for very poor performance in the final quarter, but if your previous track record is good, the possibility of this happening is low

haha sorry, by poor i mean B-. Not just one, but a few... enough to bring down the GPA.
