AMCAS verification

I am submitting my AMCAS today (7/16). All of my letters and transcripts are uploaded and marked as received in the AMCAS system. Does anybody have an idea of when my app will be verified? I think I read online 4-6 weeks so I assumed I'm looking at about a month. Is that what others are currently seeing? Also, is there a large lag time between being marked as verified and when I will start receiving secondaries?

I submitted today too. Last year they were taking a long time to verify, but this year they seem to be making far quicker progress so I'm hopeful for 3-4 weeks.

I already got secondary prompts from BU and Geisel. It doesn't really matter that I got them so early, because i have the 3-4 weeks at least to complete all my secondaries, the questions of which you can find in the school specific discussions forum. That way, once you are verified, and do start receiving those final secondary application prompts, you'll have your responses ready to go.

I just submitted mine too, good luck man! I had it done last week but was sitting on it way too long. Hopefully it's not more than 3-4 weeks, but like @DenTony11235 said I'm going to get a head start on my secondaries as well. So when I actually get them around mid-August I can submit them right away and still be "average" (not early). If you look at the school specific section a lot of guys are posting the secondaries there so you can start on them without officially getting them yet.

I submitted the 16th. I wanted to wait for my MCAT score. Hoping verification soon. Have done secondaries for Dartmouth, Yale, Cinci, and GW. Hoping I can get those secondaries before school starts

AMCAS says they are reviewing apps that were marked as ready for review on July 9th. Looks like we are possibly a week away! If our apps are verified by early next week that would be awesome! I already got 4 or 5 secondaries before but I imagine next week I will have a lot more to work on.

I hope so too. I submitted some I already received, but am hoping for more.
