How long does it normally take for AMCAS to verify transcripts?

Is there somewhere online where you can check to see if they've received your transcripts???

It's supposed to be 4-6 weeks, but someone recently posted that they're now saying 6-8 weeks, because they're swamped. No, there is no on-line place you can check to see if they got your transcripts. You can call or email them to find out.

when they do receive your transcripts they'll send you an email.

i got the email 2 or 2.5 weeks after i dropped my transcript requests in the mail.

if you sent your requests more than 2 weeks ago, i would call your schools to see if they have been sent. amcas might be swamped and maybe a little slower now than before.

VERIFICIATION of transcripts and your application, however, is like 6-8 weeks after you submit.
