I thought you were accepted by other schools also. What makes you choose TSU over the others? Just curious.

Most of us got a thousand dollars to cover our tuition this summer which is like $714. so we still got some small refunds from that as well.

Well, actually I have received A LITTLE BIT pell grants. It was only 660 bucks!!! I dun know how this aid gonna cover. my books? my cosmetics? When I was at UH I got A LOT more. I dun know if it is because of TSU or some other factors. I still haven't been offered loans.

I haven't send them in yet, but I am gonna do that tomorrow since Ms. Davis urged me a couple times. They said we have to send two copies: one to pharmacy office, the other to registrar...I am gonna turn in one in person first, the other directly send from UH and HCC.👍

It was for two days last year. It is basically a Texas Pharmacy Association convention. I know some people enjoyed it but it was so boring for me that I didn't show up on the second day. I didn't understand why all of us had to be there while every other school sent representatives. They said they had an evening party for the students at the end of the first day but I didn't stay (too old for stuffs like that) The only seminar I enjoy was the one on managing your money, credit, loan and stuffs like that while in school .
May be you will enjoy it more than I did.

Why would the current students be distributed to OTHER Texas pharmacy schools? How would they decide who goes where? Do they get a degree from that school as well or will it still say TSU? I think that would be very unfair for someone that goes to TSU to be able to finish their schooling at UT, UH or TT. They obviously couldn't get into those schools (I know I know, some CHOOSE to stay in Houston) yet they get to go to them just b/c the school loses it's accreditation? I mean, I'm not trying to be mean but I just find it very unfair.

I turned in my money order today. The lady at the desk said they will provide transportation to and from TSU. Have to be there at 5:00 AM that morning and they'll take us back the same day.
