This was my third time taking this God-awful test and the best I could muster was a 27. Any chance I can still get an acceptance somewhere? If you guys know of any good stories about people getting in with 27, please share. I could really use the pep talk.

27 is the cutoff where it's a 50/50 chance of matriculating according to the MSAR. If you have exceptional stats in other areas, i'm sure you have a shot.

I posted this in another thead, but I'll post it here too. One of my classmates got into a good state school as an out of stater with a 25!

She had a good GPA and unique activities, though--and she's doing very well now as an MSII.

There's still hope!

I got an interview at FSU with a 27Q last year. I later found out that their average for that year was around 26.6 or something. The whole "30 average thing" seems a bit inflated...good luck mann.
