any bad stories or experiences using the letter collection service?

the letter collection aspect seemed to be pretty easy. the only part I wasn't enthusiastic about was paying $4 for each electronic delivery.

huh?? i never had to pay for electronic delivery, only snail mail.

I paid $4 per electronic delivery as well. However, it's a completely reasonable price considering the cost and hassle of mailing your LORs independent of a letter service. I had a really positive experience with Interfolio - they are quick, reliable and have great customer service. All of my medical schools accepted LORs from there and so does AMCAS (for those schools in the LOR pilot program). I suggest you use it!

The first few electronic deliveries are free. I do agree with Armybound though - I thought 4 dollars was a bit too much for sending an email to someone. But then again, I applied to quite a few schools, so maybe that's why I felt it was a lot.

hmm, interesting. i wonder if my school has some agreement with them, as i've sent 11 packets electronically already, all free. i paid for a 1 yr subscription.
