I am one of the newest member of the GEMS family and want to know if there are any other GEMS students out there. I'm looking for an apt in DC (Georgetown or Foxhall preferably) and would like to know if anyone wants to be a part of that process with me.

If so, email me at [email protected]

Thanks so much.

Hey there!! I know who you are. 😉 Congrats on the acceptance! 👍 😀

Phillygrrl and I just recently secured housing in Georgetown. We're gonna be roommies! 😀 If you're interested, I know of another GEMS student whose currently looking for roommates. Let me know.

Hey ladies I am an African American male who is anxiously awaiting his Mcat score to see if i did well enough to directly apply to medical schools this summer. However i am already preparing for if i did not do so well on the mcat and i have to apply to the GEMS program, which i have read many good things about. I have three questions to ask you ladies. First what type of grades(if you don't mind me asking) did you receive that you had to apply to the GEMS program. Second question is what type of grades do you have to have to apply to the GEMS program, because on the 2004-2005 GEMS webpage it does not give a set range of gpa or MCAT scores. Lastly, how did you ladies decide between going to a caribean medical school or spending one year proving that you deserve to be in medical school as the GEMS program provides the opportunity to do. Good Day, Ladies. 😍

PS ARE THere any other one year programs like GEMS?

Hey,

Good luck finding housing. How much are you willing to spend per month? How far away from the school would you be willing to live? I have a friend at Howard med that's looking for housing. I'll let you know if I hear about anything.
