any information about NYU application date please?

does anyone know what is the starting date for the NYU 2008 application?
they said that the deadline is march 5th. but nothing about the starting date.

I sent all the documents three weeks ago, and yesterday I got a letter from NYU notifying that my application was complete.
 
hi axis ....did u include NBDE score reoprt and ece along with the application packet or did u order the to be sent directly?????
 
Yeah, it is necessary to submit one recommendation letter from the Dean of your dental school.
I ordered TOEFL, NBDE and ECE reports to be sent directly...
Maybe you can include unopened envelopes along with your application form.
It's better to call them up and find out.

it says in the application that all the documents should be received no longer than March 5th.
but keep in ur mind: the earlier u send ur application, the better.
 
hi...thanx for the help n tell me can u take part 2 before siting for part1???n regarding nyu if i take the exam in jan -feb will get my result before the last date?? n what all documents do u need for the application???

about taking part 2 first.i'me not sure of that but I don't think so. u should ask the ADA.
about the result date. I've received my score after exactly 1 week, so I think u'll have enough time if u take it in jan, but its not a good idea to take it in feb because u should keep in mind any unexpected delays. and also you need to give at least 3 weeks for the ADA to send the score to NYU(they ask for it to be sent directly by ADA).

remember that NYU is a rolling admissions process - which means - by end of Jan - Feb -their program is nearly full ... infact they got so many applications last year that the changed the last date from march 5 to jan 30...

so wud say - the very earlier u take in ur exams - the better....

NYU Admissions deadline is not March 5th but Jan 31st. I was told by Kevin Lee one of the admissions office staff. Please for confirmation call their admissions office at (212) 998 - 9818.

Friends plz. someone guide me regarding reactivation of NYU application.Whom do we call to reactivate...saw their site but could not find any link to it.plz.help.thank you.
 
To reactivate - u need to send them a new application package with an application fee nd forward them any new updated exam scores or the updated resume - If everything is same as the previous year - jus send in the application package with the fee and ask them to forward all the other scores from the previous year.

The Institute Code for NYUCD is 2597 and the Department Code is 38.

hey guys need help for nyu application.. do we have to send all the 13 pages of the application form ... or it seems some of pages are for our knowledge... and can we send unopend letter of all the score instead of ordering through the agency...
 
Hi: In my case, I sent just the application pages (the ones you have to fill) and I ordered the scores to be sent directly to the school.

Their Was No Column And I Selected Only 2597 Which Is Nyu Dental College Code As Per On Toefl.. So , My Question Is Will The Toefl Result Will Go To Dental College Or Not Without Department Code Which Is 38 Which I Saw In This Forum..

Hi guys, did you guys get application complete from Nyu..? I applied in early august but still didn't get any letter. I am very tensed and anxiously waiting for some interviews. For people who didn't get any interviews lets not loose our hope and keep praying.

Hi:
They sent me a postcard about 2 weeks ago... I was missing my TOEFL, NDBE, and ECE reports... (actually I had ordered but they still had not reached the school). Called them today, my application is complete and they will start sending letters around Nov....

Hi Plant... just give call to Toefl people...get number from the website..... tell them you didn't send it to the department... They will send it again right now without charging you any money..
 
THANKS SHARMA, ACTUALLY, I JUST SAW THE INSTITUTION CODE AND FILLED UNDER Undergraduate section on TOEFL WEBSITE FROM WHRE I ORDERED ONLINE. I DID GAVE CALL TO TOEFL, But THEY SAID THEY CANT DO ANYTHING, THEN I gave call to nyudc ,i told them abt that i havent enterED DEPARTMENT CODE. tHE PERSON OVER THEIR SAID THAT ITS NO NEED TO WORRY SAYING THAT Most of people dont enter dept. code .he asked me to call after 2-3 week to know if they recieved my toefl result..
