I noticed that a larger percentage (compared to the whole population of humans) of left-handed people are in fields such as pharmacy. What is the population like in this forum? I?m one. 🙂

I think I'm primarily right handed, but I do some things left handed. I started out writing left handed, but they switched me to my right hand in school. My dad taught me how to play sports and since he was right handed, I learned to bat right handed and throw right handed. My brother is right handed and I wanted to play his guitar, so I learned that right-handed. But, I bought a drum kit once and couldn't play it until I set it up left handed. So, I guess I'm not sure. I can't tell right from left anyway.

I'm left-handed.
It's unusual that there's so many of us, in a way, because historically usually left-handers are more adept at music ability and spacial reasoning. Half of all left handers are NOT dominant in side of brain that contains Broca's area, which is for language and speaking. So some lefties have more trouble with articulation than right-handers. Just something my physiology teacher told us...

I'm actually ambi too, I guess. In Kinder, they tried to take the left-handedness out of me, and were successful in most areas except writing. What can you do when there's only right-handed scissors available? 😡 They couldn't completely convert me. If I broke my left arm it wouldn't be such a big deal; I can write with my right too, just a lot slower and a little akward. If I broke my right arm, on the other hand, I would have to re-learn how to flip people off with my left hand!

Yeah it's weird, I'm a lefty but I play hockey right, tennis left, write left ( i can marginally write with my right hand just slow) swing a bat right handed, etc.

Technically Im lefthanded, but because of the backward, third-world hellhole (Im kidding, it wasnt a hellhole )where i was born, lefthanded writing was seen as improper. So I was forced to become a Rightie by my no-good, SOB kindergarten teacher( I know its sooo sad but its sooo true ). Then after breaking my left arm playing soccer 3x and getting no PTherapy (remember: backward, third world) I m now exclusively righthanded.

im a lefty also! yea i believe my aunt, who taught me how to write, tried to make me write with my right hand but was unsuccessful! i know a buddy who was forced to write with her right hand but she is ambi like u. =)
