Squat: 265
Bench: 225
Deadlift: 315
Mile Run: 5:12

Height: 6'1"
weight: 177 lbs
Body fat: 15%

Currently bulking till 200 pounds or so by the end of the year, 210 max, the slower I gain the weight, the less I have to cut. But goal is 200-210 lb bulk this year and then cut to about 185ish @ 10% bf in spring

OrphanageCaretaker-dang you fast! I'm guessing that being a tall person like me/grip is the reason your deadlift isn't quite as big as your squat though?

My grip is pretty reasonable I have to say, the reason my deadlift isn't that heavy is because I tend not to go heavy on big compound movements too often because so many of my friends have had hip displacements, fractures, muscle tears, knee problems etc with them so I tend to time them correctly so I can work out effectively but not injure myself as well. I had injured my back so I slowly started getting back into working out. I have extremely small calves and you wouldn't think I could squat over 100 pounds but my legs are pretty powerful lol. Regardless back/bi/shoulder is my favorite day. I have a decent routine set up so I hit them well.

3x3 chin ups (warm up)
3x8 lat pull downs (wide or t bar grip)
3x8 barbell rows (KEY in every back workout)
3x3 deadlift (Romanian, KEY in every back workout) sometimes I substitute bent over rows if I can't dl that day
4x12 face pulls (ropes)
3x8 upright row (barbell)
3x8 rear deltoid (machine)
3x8 side raises (dumbbell)
3x8 preacher curls (barbell)
3x8 concentration curls (dumbbell)
3x8 reverse forearm curls (barbell)

dang thats a pretty thorough workout! I used to play around in that rep range, but I've had better luck with a hypertrophy-directed 5x5 program with fewer lifts. How long would you say a typical workout takes you?

If I'm focused and there are no distractions aka friends that I talk to at the gym, it can be done in 45 minutes but usually takes me close to an hour or so.

eehh right now...
6'0"
210lb

330 Bench
475 Deadlift
??? Squat Hit 5 sets of 3 reps with 365 with a set of bands (don't remember what they are rated.. about an inch wide I think and are red haha)
255 Clean and Press

My bodyweight and lifts fluctuate quite a bit lately.. was out of the gym a lot during school and DAT study.. been back at for about 3 months now pretty steady

I did gymnastics when I was younger! And continue to do it recreationally. Pretty much the tumbling part of it.

You definitely should get into it more! It's so much fun and you're working out and barely notice 😉

And skills under your belt yet?

I want to be at your bodyweight, *sigh* got to continue bulking I guess

I've been lifting for four years now. My stats are not impressive because I mainly focus on aesthetics. I have a decent physique although based on how long I am been training I should have done better.

Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 145
Bench: 100 lb dumbbells
Squats: 225 lb
Deadlift: stopped doing them

I lift mainly to stay in shape... That being said I weigh about 175 lbs...225 x 6 250 x 1

I'm more of a runner now 5k: 21:30 half marathon: 1:52:00. Working on a marathon for the fall.

Creatine mono, compound lifts, stupid amounts of chicken and rice.. and AGE...

I actually encountered chest problems whenever I was on creatine so I completely stopped. I saw all of my lifts go up but I wasn't going to risk chest pain for some slight gains. As for every thing else, that's what I've been doing.

Pericarditis.

You can go to your doctor and have him prescribe corticosteroid medication, prednisone?

You hit my dream of 3,4,5. Insane stats at 170!

The best program (for me) had to be sheiko. If you're interested, run month 29 followed by 37, max out. Then 37 followed by 40, max. then 31 followed by 30. Take deload weeks between months!
It's basically a lot of (relatively light) compound work followed by light hypertrophy. Throw a baseball enough times, you get better at pitching. Sheiko uses the same concept, high squat frequency to get better at squatting! Oh, I also did an arm day once a week because I'm vain.
🙄

Thanks, I'll look into! I'm running PHAT right now and I have seen huge improvements though

I always liked Westside... Have been doing some other junk and stuff lately.. cause I like to be all J & T and I like to work in Oly lifts.. Will be checking out PHAT and Sheiko now though... I think I will start a program put together by Amit Sapir..

How'd you start oly lifting? I'm super interested but they are very... Intimidating and finding a coach is gonna cost loads of money for something I'm doing casually.

haha, I just go for it bro.. no coach or anything.. watch some Youtube videos and start light and practice your form a lot... my lifts are not even remotely impressive for Oly lifts when you look at real Oly lifters.. there are 12yr old Chinese girls that would school me... I do it for the explosive strength and functional strength

Yessss I'm so glad there are other fit predents. I started getting into lifting a few years ago with my kinda brother who is a national champ wrestler. I try to get into the gym at least 3 times per week. But I work at a brew pub/pizzeria so thats a bit of a challenge...

Been lifting for two years now. At the peak of my bulk I was able to do Bench: 315, Squat: 405, Dead: 495 (conventional cuz I can't sumo for ****.) at 5'8", 200 (prob close to 13% bf due to horrible bulk.) Now I'm down to 162 after a huge deficit cut (~2 month cut) but definitely noticed some good gains! Hoping to stay at it and do a natural bbing show sometime next spring if my next bulk goes even better.
