Any recent interview invites to UCD or UCLA (since the new year)?

I know some rejections were just sent out, but I still haven't heard anything from UCLA or UCD, post-secondary. Has anyone recieved any interview invitations in the last two weeks?

I called UCD yesterday and they said that I was selected for an interview but they just haven't sent out the invitation yet. Not sure what that means, but I suppose it's good news.

Hey I just had my ucla interview on the 7th of January and they told me that they are interviewing through March for positions in the class...They don't even start sending out acceptances until the 15th of this month.

My app was finished 10/1/2002. It has been quite a long wait, but part of that took place during winter break, so the wait was really about 3 months.

My file was complete at davis since 10/8 (post 2ndary) and i still haven't heard a thing...but the thing that sucks is that after everyone kept posting that they were rejecting again...i called them to see what was going on with my app and they wouldn't tell me anything except that i should get some type of notice soon...does that me that it will probably be a rejection since they are telling people that htye got interviews on the phone...i am getitng sobummed about the uc's....i guess this is in response to what they told sponch on the phone.

UC Davis notifies you of interviews by email, not by phone.

She's referring to what Sponch said about calling UC Davis and being told that he had been granted an interview. My guess is that their policy is to avoid giving out status information over the phone (for privacy reasons), but if the right person answers the phone they may be willing to tell you what you want to know. At any rate, nygirl, I don't think you have any reason to assume that you have a rejection coming...

I didn't mean to freak you out. I understand that it's confidential information, but the lady asked me for my Social, AMCAS ID, name, etc., etc. I called late in the late afternoon too, so the call load was probably light. And she sounded like she was in a good mood. The other schools I've called cut me off before I could finish asking my question, so it could have just been a fluke. I wouldn't count out UCD just yet.

I got a UCLA invite last week. I think there were some crazy holiday mail factors going on, because on the status page, it had requested an interview on Dec. 11th. So there is definitely still hope! BTW, anyone who tries to tell you that Feb. interviews are only for "waitlist spots" is full of S--T. I have followed many friends through the application process, and Feb. is still early esp. for the UC's.

ON A DIFFERENT SUBJECT:
Has anyone heard post secondary rejection from UCI? I have had my application "on hold" there for about 2 months.

I called late last week and Terri Hall told me to be on the look out for it in the mail. But no, I have not received the official invitation by mail or email.
