Is it common to get emails from (U.S.) med schools to get invites to apply to their med school? Anyone familiar with or applied (or a student at) to Wayne State University SOM ?
I just wonder what information med schools (that you didn’t apply to) get from AMCAS… your email?

I'm pretty sure every medical student since the beginning of time gets emails from Wayne State. I'm not sure if they do it to drum up app money or just increase their applicant pool, but I got about 10 emails from them last cycle.
