Any recommendations for veterinary summer externships abroad?

Hi all! I'm a first year vet student in the states, and I would love to spend my first summer getting experience at a small animal clinic abroad. Ideally somewhere where English is the primary language. My dream would be to work in the UK or anywhere in Europe. Does anyone have prior experience with finding an externship abroad or have any recommendations for good teaching clinics/hospitals? Thanks in advance!

You might consider reaching out to the vet students in the pre-vet side of the forum where there’s a lot more traffic. Additionally, schools in the UK may have some leads; you could try cold-emailing and see what you get
