Problem Based Learning Cirriculum. Its a better way to learn. You focus on problem solving and are more motivated that way. The learing part just comes naturally and you are better off remembering. That's how most medical schools are. USC met with a lot of resistance from the faculty at first, but now its all PBL. The other dental schools will catch up soon.
