Anyone been rejected after their interview?

I'm curious to see if anyone has been rejected after their interview. If they're not gonna take you, do they wait until Dec 1 to reject you? Build up your hope and shoot you down at the moment of anticipation!!?!?!

I was at Arizona a couple of weeks ago and they said after the interview they place your file in a Yes or No pile. If you are a yes it only means your file will be discussed further and not necessarily an acceptance. On the other hand if it's a no then you are notified shortly after the interview. I remember last year this was the way it worked. Although with the possible addition of 26 or so seats they may do it different this year.

as far as i know i haven't been rejected yet

Harvard waited to reject me until the letters went out on Dec. 1....I think most schools like to wait, from what I've heard.

I've heard that Arizona is in flux with the addition of those 26 seats. It may not happen due to budget issues

Yeah, ive heard that AZ will send the rejections soon after the interview. Does anywhere else do that?

They told us you can call after the interview to see which pile you're on (either you're on the good pile or the other pile of shyt). So you can find out your acceptance/rejection status that way.
