So, I decided to drop a class (Anthro of Human Birth) and stick with the following schedule: 20th century French novel, Problem-Based Learning in Bio, GLBT Theory (Pass/Fail) and Thesis Work. Anyone else being a slacker and loving it??

dude, you know i'm totally on that boat too.....i'm only taking 2 classes this semester (along with 2 seminars) and they are

*music of latin america
*prehistory of europe

here's to the easiest semester of my life

I actually have to work pretty hard this semester and during the summer, but my last semester (this fall) is pathetic. I'm taking maybe 8 hours.

Of course, if I get A's in both science classes this semester, then I won't have to take any classes during the summer

3 classes

Psychopathology of adults (3 cr)
Human sexuality (4 cr- Pass/ fail)
Biomedical materials (2 cr P/F)

TAing A&P (5 Cr.)

Riding the gravy train.

I've got the exact opposite problem, I'm being a super senior. They payoff is a double major, but it still sucks for now. My class load is 20 credits. Engineering Dynamics, Elements of Mechanical Design, Electronic Instrumentation, Modeling and Control, Biomedical Engineering Design, and Professional Development 🙁 2 weeks in and I'm already tired of things.

uhhh man...slacker isn't even the word. I think I would have been more productive if I had hybernated through the season....man I can't get anything done. I have the worst case of senioritis ever. I actually think we should start a club for this.....Something like DGS (aka Dont give sh11t) organization for "premeds" !! Then we could share our mundane experiences and useless existence along with our captivating stories of failures and rejections........hey it's ok though, cause we got each other. Alrighty, waiting for some more slackers to join the club.

And plz do not share with us slackers, your grandeur experience of your senior year with 40 semester credits in order to complete your triple major. It is simply too much for our lazy asses to bear.

You can only qualify as a slacker if you,

1) perform only three activities, eating, sleeping, and watching TV
2) You are taking 9 hours and half your classes are p/f
3) It has been three weeks since school started and you still havent bought your books
4) You dont attend class half the time cause you oversleep even though your class is at 2 in the afternoon and the other half that you manage to get your butt in class you doze off in class (often times right in front of the teacher as you most often are coaxed to sitting in front of the class to avoid the embarrassment of walking through the class in between the tight row of student seats as you walk in 20 minutes late....hmmm if the class door is in the front, and if it isn't in the front you dont bother to come to class)
5) You constantly ponder if you should drop that 3 hour course that you dont need for graduation ..........after all you never attend it anyway
6) You constantly carry a calculator around computing the lowest grade you need to pass the class
7) You're most productive activity of the day is your captivating posts on SDN
8) It has been an hour and you are still on the first page of your vertebrae physiology book........more likely busy fantasizing about the hot guy/chick you saw earlier
9) Except for that vertebrae physiology class that you are taking p/f, your hardest class is a dance class
and of course having said all this you are definitely
10) proud of your useless existence and loving every second of being a bum

PS. Hopefully you have been already accepted in med school......otherwise you might as well forget about the dream of ever having that MD behing your name as you are pretty much screwed.

First day of classes...

Hmm, I don't know exactly where this building is. I have a good idea, so I suppose I could go look for it...but its kind of cold, and my warm apartment is so much more inviting...
Skipped.

I was calculating my GPA after this quarter (My final quarter before graduation): If I get all B's in my classes, my GPA will drop 0.05-0.06, if I get all A's in my classes, my GPA will raise 0.01-0.02

So there's really not much incentive to do well 😉

BINGO !!  Even more reason to slack off !!
