I absolutely cannot stomach General Chem 😡 I can't focus on it for ten minutes. I can't even try to do it. It feels like I had this class a century ago (actually three years ago).

Yeah, I anticipated absolutely hating studying gen chem for the mcat. When I took it as a frosh I got 2 C+'s and a B- in three quarters...And A's in all my physics this past year...Yet now, after learning gen chem which I don't think happenned when I actually took the class, I don't mind it all and physics is where I miss q's on the PS..Go figure! What I really do hate in gen chem though is all the electrochemistry stuff.

I hate it too, and probably not a cocincidence, it is subject on which I get most questions wrong. It's all about these busy little ions mindlessly scurrying this way or that, always looking for the easiest way out, and shamelessly coupling with anything that has the opposite charge.

I had an A average my first semester and an A- approximately my second semester of gen chem. I really hated the class, albeit the knowledge is somewhat useful.

Amen to that, I hate gases and acid base with a passion. And the electrolytic cell I hope they all die.
