I am basically in this same boat too after applying on day 1 in June. 2 of my 4 II were at "top" schools too so who knows
What were your stats if you don't mind me asking?

I applied from around August, through September, and October but havent heard from a single one of these schools regarding II decisions. CCOM told me my file is still under review.
MCAT: 30, gpa : 3.5, i mean, if im a poor applicant then shouldn't i have gotten a rejection or two already?
Schools applied to:
CCOM
Rowan
NYIT
Both Edward Via
Both PCOM
Nova
UNE
Touro-NY
I have 3.16 cGPA 3.34sGPA 25MCAT very strong DO and MD LOR: two ii so far, two rejections, two holds and a bunch of no replies
Verified in October finished secondaries and getting letters in by end of October.Did u send in everything on day one? How are your ECs if u don't mind me asking?
U did get interviews so that's a good sign..
Are those reject/hold responses post-interview? If not, I would be optimistic. From last year's Underdawg thread, similar stats to yours got acceptances in Feb.I have 3.16 cGPA 3.34sGPA 25MCAT very strong DO and MD LOR: two ii so far, two rejections, two holds and a bunch of no replies
hmm.. I mean I'm no expert or anything... but after lurking on this site for a while I would have to say it is PROBABLY the MCAT score that has schools being iffy. I mean u did get interviews which is a good thing.. but did you feel you did well on them? Have you contacted the schools that rejected you and asked WHY? Please do that ASAP if you haven't already

Yeah I know my MCAT isn't very good. I have completed one interview so far and one more this Friday. My two rejections were post secondary.
Is it ever okay to email to ask about application status (i.e. if I'm on pre-interview hold, do admissions usually send an email?)
I have been complete at CCOM, KCUMB, LMU-DCOM, and Western for almost 2 months now. Other schools that I've gotten interviews for usually got back to me within 2 weeks. I am starting to wonder if I have been placed on pre-interview hold but don't want to be blunt by emailing the admissions.
Email KCUMB and ask what's up.

Do you know of any schools that won't review your app until you finish all pre-reqs? I think there was someone put on hold by AZCOM for fall grades... I wonder if more schools do that. Currently taking (and being destroyed by) ochem II.
for the record: if you apply broadly on day 1 with 3.2/3.2/24 or 3.0/3.0/26 or better, and have no red flags, you should have a favorable chance of at least 1 acceptance.
Not an uninteresting thought. I just finished ochem II today and have yet to hear from AZCOM, CCOM, or NOVA
Hm... And if I'm remembering correctly, the person who was put on hold for ochem grade was accepted to Touro-ca, like you. Might be a coincidence. But I definitely wish I knew that not having pre-reqs done can be a disadvantage.
Btw, did the acceptance letter require you to obtain a certain grade in ochem II?

I got interviewed by AZCOM two months ago. Just finished physics 2 last week.
They may put applicants on hold for orgo but not for physics. I dunno.
Thanks for letting us know. In that case, I guess it's probably dependent on the applicant, not their general policy.
Did they also require you to get at least a C this semester?
Have any of you guys heard back from schools recently? I have one acceptance, two new rejections and like three new holds since my last update on this thread.
