Anyone Else With 30+ MCAT Not Getting Any Love From Drexel?

31 here....nothing yet. Although I was complete at Drexel and at most schools pretty recently....but I can never say no to a good vent/rant. 😀

Drexel is one of the schools that I have a non-sexual crush on.

31Q, submitted everything in mid-August, including my letters of recommendation through Interfolio... and I'm still NOT COMPLETE! Four emails have gone unanswered... why drexel, why???

You need to call the admissions office. Sending an email to Drexel is like sending it into a black hole. You will never get a response. I've read on here of people who called and actually got someone helpful.

Well, first time I've heard of anyone actually getting a response to an email. Have read dozens of posts to the contrary.

I'll echo the recommendation to actually give them a call - I got a whole lot of nothing from the e-mail (I can only *imagine* the volume of e-mail they are receiving at the moment), and a phone call at least got me a human being and a fast response.

Very true, especially when you consider that Drexel interviews 1.5 million applicants each year.

Keine. Aber ich habe von meinen Grosseltern etwas Deutsch gelernt. Und ich habe es in der hochschule studiert. Meine Grosseltern kommen aus Eschenlohe - in der nahe von Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Und wo hast du gut deutsch gelernt?

Well if you don't want your Drexel acceptance, send it over this way. I'll be happy to take it!

Not a lame ass question, but probably not one anyone else can answer for you. We all have our favorites, and you'll find people who will sing the praises of each of one of these schools. Using the search function will probably lead you to threads discussing the pros/cons of all of these schools. But ultimately you have to decide which is the right fit for you.

33 here...and now realized that my app hasnt been reviewed (completed late August) because of a system malfunction that said my supp. app. fee wasn't paid...which it was.

Yep...the admissions office told me they will have it sent to review asap because of the error, which makes me feel a bit better. Now, I'm just worried if this same thing happened to the other schools!

Hey Guys.
I applied to med school 4 years ago, and I remembered Drexel being the last school to invite me for a interview (I think i was invited after new year's, interviewed may be in late march & accepted in mayish)
So don't fret too much! It's only Nov.🙂
Oh and I had 29 on MCAT & I don't go to Drexel. I go to another med school in Philly.

haha very true...but I see it better than being "incomplete"...at least it's one step closer to than before...though not that big of a step.

It appears on the page after you enter your banner ID and Pin# the second time. Part way down it will have a statement/hyperlink in blue that says something like "Schedule your interview". It is pretty big and separate from other things. Just above "Applications in Progress". You won't miss it once it is there.

not everyday, they seem to give out interviews in bursts (but it doesn't seem like that because not everyone checks their status page everyday!)
